Roger Jones has faithfully served in ministry for more than four decades and now steps into the role of Chaplain for BiG Ministry with wisdom, experience, and a shepherd's heart.

Roger gave his life to Christ on November 29, 1979, while serving in the United States Air Force. Within a year of his salvation, he began serving in ministry, first as a Kids Pastor to 4 & 5-year-olds for five years and later was leading home Bible studies with adults.

​

Sensing God's call to full-time ministry, he left the Air Force and served at Calvary Assembly in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Roger and his late wife, Deborah, eventually pioneered Faith Fellowship Church, where he faithfully pastored for 20 years.

​

A gifted communicator who genuinely loves children and families, Roger brings strong pastoral leadership, governance experience, and a passion for mentoring to BiG Ministry. He currently attends Dream City Church in McAlester Oklahoma and is eager to invest his time and spiritual leadership into the next generation. He is also newly married man to a wonderful and beautiful woman, Melissa, and is grateful for this new season of life and partnership.

Roger believes that with so many competing influences in a young person's life, Christ-centered mentorship through the local church is not just helpful - it is vital.

​

He joins BiG Ministry ready to faithfully "occupy until He comes," helping guide and strengthen the mission of mentoring children through godly relationships.
